Her laughter is infectious, and while she may be hesitant to try new things, with the support of friends and family, there’s nothing she cannot do. He is always ready for an adventure and loves trips up to the mountains any time of the year. Loves sports – especially hockey and skiing. Meet the Couple
Meet Jesse and Leanne, the soon-to-be newlyweds. Since their first date in July of 2017, the two have forged a love that is a blend of humor, love, and unwavering support for one another. Every day is a new adventure, filled with joy and laughter, sometimes ups and downs, and always at each others’ sides. Now, with your help, they’re all set for their greatest adventure yet.
Where it all Started
The two met in high school while attending OHS in Onoway, and with Jesse being a grade above Leanne, as well as a bit of a goofball, she never really paid him much attention. Jesse was an outgoing, hockey playing, social butterfly, whereas Leanne was a quiet introvert, as well as an avid reader and dancer.
Becoming "Offical"
Occasionally, Jesse would make flirty passes at Leanne (generally involving him playfully kicking her in the ass to deliberately leave dust marks on her pants, leading to one or two shouts of “JESSE LESKO as he made a beeline for the door, looking back and grinning at her the whole way.) It wasn’t until the summer of 2017, a year after Leanne’s grad, that the pair reconnected. Jesse reached out to compliment on her new pixie haircut, which led to a first date. After a summer of dates and hang outs, Leanne and Jesse officially became a couple on September 30, 2017. Now, almost 7 years since that day, the two are all set to tie the knot, and they cannot be more excited to see you on their special day.
A Start of a New Life Together
On August 13, 2022, Jesse seized an opportunity to set up Leanne’s ideal proposal. She had always told him that her dream proposal was to be surrounded by people she knows and loves, both friends and family. A 50th birthday celebration for Jesse’s mother Twyla provided the perfect outlet for such a proposal. With the help of his mother, his sister Brenna, Best Man Eric Brent and his wife Alex, Jesse’s months-long plan came to fruition. With one of our favorite songs playing , and amidst the backdrop of family and friends in a quaint, rural Alberta dancehall, Jesse dropped to one knee, and asked Leanne to be his forever. The rest, as they say, is history.

Please rsvp before August 15th. We cannot guarantee after that date if we can fit you in with finalizing things with our vendors!
We love kiddos, however to allow all of our guests, including those that are parents an opportunity to enjoy an evening of relaxation, we respectfully advise that the ceremony and the reception are for adults only.
Please arrive around 2:30pm to ensure you get a seat and parking well before the ceremony start at 3:00pm.
Parking at the Lesko Farm is along the road and on the driveway. Parking at the campground is along the road leading up to the open space.

Please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony! We have hired an amazing photographer, and will make sure everyone has access to see them once we get them back! During the reception, after the first dances…. go wild!! Take as many pictures as you would like! We can’t wait to see them.
Semi formal. What you’re comfortable in. decor is trying to be more vintage themed – so feel free to dress for that! Ladies please note everything is on grass so choose footwear appropriately.
